So is anyone getting sick of my daily blogs yet? Well today I was trying to decide what to blog about. To get some ideas I started to look through my pictures and came across something I was always planning on sharing but never got around to actually posting.
This past July as Ty and I were moving from Kansas City back home to Orem and into our townhome, my parents were in Pennsylvania visiting Jana. I was a little dissapointed that they wouldn't be here to "welcome" us back home and to see us into our new place.
Well the morning after we got home, we came over to the empty townhome, so Ty could see the big decision I had made without him. As we were checking out the kitchen we looked in the pantry and found a big basket full of goodies. My mom had snuck in before her trip and left us a WELCOME HOME package. It was so fun to find it, and so thoughtful of her to break into our new home to let us know she was thinking of us and loved us. I have the best mom! Inside the basket: Books and a ball for Scotty, bath & body set for me, golf balls for Ty, dishwasher tabs, hand towels, wet one wipes, diet Coke, $25 gift card to Olive Garden gift, the big wicker basket it came in, a thoughtful card and special gift for Scotty from Great Grandma Ritter (a beautiful silver cup with his name engraved in it).
