Funny Story Flashback

Ty needed a funny story for his public speaking class, so we were thinking about funny stories that have happened to us . It was a lot of fun to think back on some of our funny moments. I think every couple should lay in bed and laugh together about stories that haven't been thought about for a long time. One of the stories we remembered was...

A few years ago we were in Moab UT for a "spring break" break. Outside of our hotel was an empty lot where people had parked some machinery. That lot is where we'd take Keeley to relieve himself. One of the times we were over in the lot we noticed one of the tractors had been left on.

On our way back into the hotel, there was a man in the parking lot, walking toward the machinery. Ty thought he'd be helpful and ask the man if the machinery belonged to him.

So imagine this... Ty walks up to the man, with Keeley (our small Yorkie) on a leash. Ty proceeds to ask the man "Is this your CAT?" The man looks down at the pup, who obviously is a dog and not only that, is obviously our dog. He looked back up at Ty with a confused look on his face. After a long pause, he gave Ty the funniest look, and slowly said "Uh... no..." Ty didn't realize why the man was rude and slow in his answer. But I did, and almost fell over laughing as we walked away.
