Every morning I wake up to a new baby. I can't believe how quickly he is growing.
First of all, he is getting big! I guess I should have seen it coming, he was born with HUGE feet and hands, and had extremely baggy skin that was just waiting to fill out. I'm sad to say I don't think he'll be in 0-3 month clothes much longer. At church 2 weeks ago he was next to a little girl who was a few weeks older and noticeably smaller.
Secondly, it is amazing to watch him change developmentally. I have a book that tells me all the things that are changing daily is his little world, and without that book I'd probably not notice how many little changes he is already making! He is starting to bat at things held in front of him, he is making a variety of different sounds, he follows things with his eyes and turns his head at different noises, he loves looking at books, listening to new sounds (especially noises Ty and I make or white noise type sounds), and he pumps his legs with excitement when it is time to eat or Ty comes over to pick him up. Of course my favorite thing he is doing is SMILING!
It is amazing how in the past 6 1/2 weeks he has gone from a itty bitty thing that has no control over his little body to a chubby little guy that is taking the first steps to taking on the world.
Now if he'd just start sleeping through the night...

I can't believe how big he is already. I still call Maddox my "Baby", but he is practically a little boy! Ugh! I hate it! Enjoy every second (I know you will!)
