Sleeping Monitor

What a day!

We had a docs appt at 10:00 am, and just got home (around 5) from hours of tests and trainings at the hospital.

Lately our little guy has been forgetting to breath. It scares the heck out of us, so we mentioned it to the doctor today and he went through all the signs, symptoms with us and sent us to the hospital to get blood tests, nasal (snot) tests, x-rays, and for us to get CPR certified. Then we received a monitor that he gets to wear while he sleeps to make sure he doesn't stop breathing... It makes me sad he'll have to wear the monitor, but I am so glad that the doc was on top of everything and is taking all the precautions to keep my baby safe and sound. (And maybe, just maybe, Ty and I can get some sleep-- the past few nights we have just laid awake listening to him, so we can wake him if he stops breathing).

On a good note everything else is looking great and healthy!

He weighed in today at... 9 lbs 13 oz and measured 22 1/2 inches long!! (Remember he was born at 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 inches only 16 days ago).

I think we may be on the path to having a rolly polly chubby baby.

I can't believe how fast he is growing. My little man lost for the first 2 weeks. He is so cute, and I know you guys have to be so proud. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this exhausting time. Hope Scotty gets better with is breathing. Take Care
