Wilton Cake Class

Allison and I are taking Wilton Cake decorating classes. I was inspired by the cute cake she made for my baby shower. She had already been thinking about taking professional classes. So on a whim we signed up, and started tonight. We started on Level II, because Level I was sold out. But I think we'll be able to figure it out and catch up pretty easily.

Some of the things we are learning are-

Master elegant new borders featuring rosettes, reverse shells and rope designs. Give your cakes incredible dimension with the addition of bold color flow decorations. Create lovely new flowers like rosebuds, daisies, daffodils, mums and more. Use these flowers in a grand finale — an impressive flower basket cake using the interwoven basketweave technique.

At the end of the course we are going to have a final project and I'll be sure to share pics of my masterpeice then.
