Here they are-- some Hawaii pics.
DAY 1
We left bright and early Jan 21st for Hawaii. Okay so it was early, but it wasn't bright-- be had to leave our apartment at 4:30 am and to our suprise... IT WAS DUMPING SNOW!! We fianlly got to the airport (due to slloooowwww freeways), boarded the plane and got stuck on the runway for 5 hours! No joke. They would de-ice the plane and then the runways would shut down. By the time the runways opened we'd have to be de-iced again. It was a vicious cycle! Especially for a group with 2 little kiddos and 1 hungry pregnant girl. When we finally left SLC airport we were worried we were going to miss our next flight from L.A. to Honolulu, even though we were supposed to have a 5 hour layover. Lucky for us they held the plane and we barely made it on the flight. (Shew!)
After a long time in airports and airplanes we finally made it to our destination-- HAWAII! The skies were blue and the weather was warm!

The plane next to ours being de-iced.
Waiting and waiting and waiting...
Our vehicle for the week. We always rent a Jeep Wrangler when we go to Hawaii, there is no better way to see the island.
The next day started out how we like to start out our Hawaii Trips. At Duke Canoe Club-- the best all you can eat breakfast ever. Not only is the food so good, but it is right on the beach. And if you get there early enough you can watch the sunrise.
We had a GREAT ROOM! Here are a few pics of the view--
Well that is all for now~ Stay tuned for more (and more) Hawaii Pics to come!

Gorgeous!!!
oh meg, you're just SO cute :)
You are so brave to have been able to go through so many hours in the airplane waiting for the snow to be removed...I would have freaked out!
We just got back from our first Hawaiian vacation and are now looking at bloggers who went there and found your pictures.
We must have stayed in the same area of Waikiki because our view from the hotel balcony was almost like yours...but yours is better! LOL!
We loved our trip and it looks like you did too! It was only two weeks for us but it was the trip of a life-time...so far!
Best wishes on your new and growing family! It looks like you both enjoy life and like to have fun! Bless you!
