Hawaii~ Part 2

Day 3 of our Hawaii trip started off with a very pleasant suprise!

I woke up that morning, starving! I told Ty that "I was really really hungry" and "that really really wanted fruit". Ty, being the sweetest husband ever, got up and got ready to run to the corner store to buy me some fruit. Right as he opened the door to leave there was a hotel worker there holding this fruit basket for us. The hotel manager had made a mistake with our parking pass and had this basket sent up to us.

That night was Corey's birthday party. We went to a Japenese Steakhouse. It was pretty fun!

Then Ty and I enjoyed virgin margarita's and a hawaiian concert.

Day 4

I think this was Ty's favorite day! After many months of Utah's snow and cold he was able to go golfing. We went to Ko'olau Golf Club. Ty couldn't decide which course to play, but after reading this, there was no question.

"Ko'olau Golf Course, rated in Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses to Play" and named the "#1 Golf Course on Oahu" by Golf Digest, is among the top -- and toughest -- US golf courses. Nicknamed "The World's Most Challenging Golf Course," the 200-acre course was carved out of 1,500 acres of jungle in 1991 as a private country club for high rollers. Due to its gargantuan scale and tropical terrain, freelance golf writer Tom Haynes describes Ko'olau as "monster jungle golf" (Golf Courses of Hawaii).Located just a 20-minute drive over the Pali Highway from downtown Honolulu, you can't beat this golf course for beautiful Hawaii golf. It has breathtaking mountain views, spectacular fairways surrounded by rainforest, and dramatic sights of the Pacific Ocean. Locals talk constantly about how tough this course is. The rule of thumb is to bring the same number of balls as your handicap. The 18th hole has two carries over a giant jungle ravine--both the drive and the approach shot. Ko'olau is a Par 72 course at 7,310 yards."

The course was so beautiful. Everywhere you turned there was either a jungle, huge cliffs or ocean views. Here is just a portion of the pictures we took.

These pictures were taken between the 17th and 18th holes.

Thats all for now~~ I'll post the rest later. Thanks for looking!
